Ingredients: Yerba Mate

Traditional yerba mate is smoked for a rich, complex depth of flavor. The indigenous Guaraní and some Tupí communities first cultivated and drank yerba mate in what is modern-day Paraguay. They considered yerba mate a gift from the Gods and even called it the "drink of the Gods." It was highly valued for its gifts of nutrition and energy. Today, it is primarily drunk in central and southern parts of South America, where its value is known and its use is widespread.

This mate is from a small farm in Argentina that produces traditional mate, and it’s only produced in small batches. They are chemical-free and dedicated to Fair Trade practices. It is a medium leaf cut, smoked with its stems, and aged for at least twelve months. Enjoy yerba mate the traditional way with this especially delicious and rare mate. There are few pleasures quite like the drink of the gods!
