Jasmine flower, originally native to the Persian Gulf, was imported to south China sometime before the third century AD. It didn’t take long for the discovery that Oolong tea scented with jasmine flowers was just too delicious not to become a staple of the Chinese tea tradition!

Ti Kuan Yin translates into “Iron Goddess of Mercy” and is one of the most popular teas in China. Ti Kuan Yin comes from Anxi County in Fujian, which has a history of tea production dating over 200 years.
