This is a high-quality seven-seed pu-erh cake from the Yiwu mountains in Yunnan. It is optimally fermented and has undergone high temperature steaming and pressing until perfect. Pu-erhs quality tend to increase with age and this one has been carefully aged since 2000. It has a light “fishy” smell indicating it’s quality. It is very smooth when brewed. It produces a bright red-yellowish liquor with a pure aroma and sweet after-taste. It is a quite delicious pu-erh! A traditional double or triple-rinse of the pu-erh is recommended. Weather to enjoy at an important business meeting or to share with treasured guests, this cake is truly a sophisticated and tea lover’s tea!

Brewing Instructions:

Temp:  205 F / 96 C

Steeping Time: 3 - 4 minutes, makes numerous infusions when re-steeped

(We recommend a quick rinse of hot water before steeping for an even better cup of tea. Traditional method: rinse tea with hot water 2 – 3 times before steeping)

Measure: 1 teaspoon per cup

(Break or chip off a few small pieces until you have desired amount)
