Elderberries come from the elder tree, a tree native to Europe and especially common in England. The purplish-blue berries and yellowish flowering tops are used in herbal medicine. The elder tree has a long history of medicinal use, dating back to the Druids. The berries have been used in relieving lung issues, cold, flu, queasy stomach, and digestive problems, to name just a few. This blend combines the delicious medicinal berries with our organic Yunnan black tea for a fruity remedial delight! The berries have a wonderful aroma and a deep sweet flavor with cacao notes when brewed with Yunnan.
